This client offered a group discount plan as an affordable alternative to traditional health insurance. Rather than ask for sign-ups (sales) right off the bat, their ads offered a free guide to understand key insurance terms. The consumer provides an email address in order to receive the guide, which then allows the business to stay in touch and "nurture" that lead.

As promised, here’s your free guide! Inside, you’ll find the 5 most important terms to know in order to understand what you’re paying and what you’re getting in return with a health insurance policy. Use this guide to help you evaluate plans on the marketplace or to better understand your employer’s group plan (if you’re lucky enough to have one, that is).

I’ve been negotiating insurance contracts for 30 years, so I know better than most how insurance companies overcharge and underdeliver. They count on the fact that the average consumer doesn’t have the knowledge, patience, or resources to fight back. It’s time for that to change, and I hope that this guide helps you find your footing and get the information you need to start navigating a (purposely) over-complicated system so you can make healthcare decisions effectively and with your eyes open.

And keep an eye on your inbox! We’ll be in touch over the next few days with more insider information on how insurance works, so you can navigate your healthcare with your eyes open!

In the meantime, we’d love it if you connected with us on Facebook to learn more about how we’re helping families find clarity and transparency in healthcare. You can find us HERE.

Yesterday we sent you a free guide to help you understand some key insurance terms so that you can evaluate plans and navigate your choices more effectively. But healthcare is CONFUSING, even with the right tools, so I wanted to check in on you and see what questions you may have about the direct care model or (REDACTED) alternatives to health insurance? Let me know in a reply to this email. I read every one.

We at (REDACTED) are a tight-knit group of family and friends with a combined 80 years of experience in healthcare. That means we’re VERY aware of what’s missing in America’s healthcare system: transparency, affordability, and ease of use.

We came together to bring clarity to a purposely confusing system and help people get the care they need at accessible prices. And we’re always here to help! We’re just a call, text, or email away! You can reply to this email, text us via SMS or WhatsApp at

(REDACTED), or request a call back HERE.

I’m (REDACTED), founder of (REDACTED) health (we sent you that free health care guide the other day). I just wanted to introduce myself personally and tell you a little about how I got here and why I’m so passionate about what we’re doing at  (REDACTED).

By the way, if you want to skip right to talking to someone in real time, we’re just a call, text, or email away. We’ll answer any questions you might have about your healthcare options or (REDACTED) in particular. And we offer the first month FREE with every new plan. But on to our story! About 10 years ago, while I was a healthcare executive at Cleveland Clinic, I had a meeting at a community diagnostic center. While waiting in the patient reception area, I witnessed a 22 year old mother being quoted for her 2-year old daughter's brain scan. Neither she nor her daughter had health insurance. It was devastating to watch. This poor woman had just received the news that her daughter needed a brain scan, something that’s terrifying in itself.

Then she got the quote. The devastated look on her face and the knot in my gut told me before she said  it: She couldn't afford it. But even  that wasn't what hit me like a ton of bricks. See, what she didn’t know - but I did, all too well - was that the amount she was quoted for her daughter's brain scan was roughly three times the amount a typical health insurance company would pay for the same procedure. I

’ve been in the healthcare industry since the 90s, and I’ve come face to face with the inequities and injustices in the healthcare system. I started (REDACTED) because I believe that we ALL have a right to consistent, transparent, affordable healthcare. You shouldn’t have to devote hundreds, and sometimes even thousands of dollars a month to insurance premiums with no way of knowing what you’re going to get back.

At (REDACTED), you know what you’ll be charged UP FRONT. You know how much you’re paying and for what, always. For a fraction of the cost of insurance, you’ll get a  “pay as you go” plan with no deductibles, pre-negotiated doctor visit fees comparable to a typical insurance copay, free telehealth, free dental visits, and more.

We’re just checking in with a round up of what we do here at (REDACTED), and some highlights since there are SO many benefits it’s easy to get a little lost in all that (REDACTED) has to offer.

So, to recap: Insurance companies have relationships with doctors and hospitals all over the country - their “network” - and they have Contract Reps to negotiate lower prices and better terms. Cash pay patients, having no one to negotiate for them, pay 3X or MORE than insurance companies do for the same services and procedures. Individual patients rarely have any sort of leverage, and most have no idea where to even begin negotiating since insurance companies keep their pricing and policies shrouded in mystery and convoluted contracts.

(REDACTED) has cultivated a direct-care network of cash-pay providers similar to an insurance network, but with some key differences:

-Fair, transparent, cash-pay rates you can look up ahead of time.

-A concierge service available by call, text, email, WhatsApp. We’re wherever you are and ready to help you find the care you need at a price you can afford.

-Unlimited telehealth included for every member

-Plans from $59 per month to as little as ~$20 per month when you team up on a family plan!

-NO underwriting or approval process

-NO waiting period for coverage

-NO exclusions for pre-existing conditions

-NO deductibles

With (REDACTED), you’ll just get consistent, transparent, affordable healthcare. Sounds good, right? Click to learn more, or reach out to us! You can reply to this email, text us via SMS or WhatsApp at (REDACTED), or request a call back HERE.

Yesterday I gave you a taste of what we offer here at (REDACTED). Today I’d like to give some special attention to our hospital advocacy benefit, because you might not have heard of something like this before.

Remember the Contract Reps that negotiate better rates for insurance companies? We’ll do that for YOU. If you find yourself slammed with an expensive hospital bill, we’ll go to bat for you. We’ll contact the hospital and negotiate on your behalf to lower the amount you have to pay. We’ve lowered healthcare bills for our patients by an average of 40% - 80% in a variety of specialties, including urgent care, emergencies, dental, vision, and behavioral health.

(REDACTED) side-steps a broken, messy, confusing system and provides clarity and confidence to the cash-pay patient. With

(REDACTED), you can budget appropriately for healthcare because you’ll know in advance what you'll need to pay for the services you receive.

Some patients use (REDACTED) to supplement Medicare or a bare-bones insurance plan. Others (young, generally healthy patients with uncomplicated care needs) use our plans to replace insurance entirely. Whatever your needs, (REDACTED)

can help you find a balance between safeguarding against the future and showing up for your loved ones in the present, without the painful expense and unpredictability of traditional health insurance plans.

We recognize that this is something new (and a pretty big deal), and you probably have questions. We’re always happy to talk through anything and everything. Unlike insurance companies, we WANT you to understand what you’re getting and what you’re giving. You can check out our frequently asked questions HERE.

If you still have questions, let’s talk! You can reply to this email, text us via SMS or WhatsApp at (REDACTED), or request a call back HERE.
