Kassandra Head

Copywriter

Your voice. Your message. My work.

Welcome to my online portfolio! Inside you'll find not only examples of my work but some information and context you might find useful if you're not sure what sort of copywriting you need. Dive in and explore!

Why hire a copywriter?

(spoiler: because writing is hard)

Writing is an often overlooked skill...and one that not everyone has. In the online space especially, written communication is key. Effective writing is critical, not only to accurately convey what products or services your business offers but to connect emotionally with your audience.

SERVICES

What I Offer

Long Form Ads

I do a lot of work for clients advertising on Facebook, which favors long-form, story based content...in short, ads that don't FEEL like ads.

Brand Stories

A company's brand story often forms the basis of all other copywriting because it clarifies the brand's mission, origin, values, and voice.

Email Sequences

Ever heard someone say email is dead? WRONG. Email remains an extremely effective tool for nurturing leads and closing sales.

Landing Page Copy

A landing page is where you end up after you click on an online ad. What a landing page looks like depends on what the ad was for and what product or service is ultimately being sold. It's important to keep in mind that those might be two different (though related) things.

Sales Page Copy

The sales page is where (you guessed it!) you try to make the sale. It could be a service or product, and there are both long and short-form sales pages. Which you choose depends on the type of product and what sort of journey you've set up for your customer.

Blog Posts

Blogs can be a useful tool for a variety of businesses, especially in the coaching or consulting arenas. Customers these days crave value. Blogs offer a win-win solution by providing customers with useful information and businesses with an opportunity to prove their expertise.

Need something else?

The categories above represent my areas of greatest experience and expertise, but I'm always open to new projects! Whatever your writing needs, I'd love to help you. Website copy? E-books? Brochures or pamphlets? Bring it on!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do you charge?

Pricing depends on the scope, content, and urgency of your project. Once I have a clear idea of what you're looking for, I'll be able to provide you with a custom quote for the whole project. Although each project is unique, most clients can expect something in the ballpark of $0.50-$0.70 per word.

How do I provide feedback (and how much feedback can I give)?

After an initial meeting to discuss the project content and details, I'll work in a shared Google document. I'll give you a "draft zero" to review, after which you can provide feedback via Zoom, email, or comments on the doc itself depending on the nature of your feedback. If I'm wildly off base, I want to know! This stage of feedback is important because this is your one and only opportunity to ask for large-scale changes (including a complete re-write if necessary). Each client gets one major overhaul. Once the overhauled draft is delivered, I will provide 2 more rounds of minor to moderate revisions based on your detailed and specific feedback. T his feedback is to be delivered via comments on the shared Google document.

How do I make my payment?

I will send you an invoice via PayPal. Payment must be made in full before the initial project meeting is scheduled.

Do you offer refunds?

I will provide a partial refund (your project price minus $100) at any time prior to your approval of Draft 1. Refunds will not be granted after this point.

About Me

It's tough out there for people who don't fit the mold of a 9-5 work horse or office drone. Small business owners, freelancers, and self-employed creatives have to fight for every scrap of business, and it's even harder when they don't have the writing chops to communicate their true value in today's digital landscape.

As a copywriter (and freelancer myself), my greatest joy lies in helping other professional "free spirits" connect with their audience and tap into their pool of potential customers through clear, powerful copy wherever it can do the most good. Whether it's Facebook ads, blog posts, funnels, or email sequences, I can help you speak directly to your audience and tell them exactly why YOUR offer is the one they need.
